It doesn’t surprise Vancouver designer Sophie Alden that she became a jewelry designer. Her love and intense passion for all things fashion and design, Alden began her creative journey in retail, where as a hobby she began making pieces that reflected her own personal style dichotomy: classic and feminine, with a little experimental rock ‘n roll thrown in for good measure.

Wearing her unique creations in the shop where she worked, cutomers quickly began to take notice and in 2006, Lisbeth jewelry was born.Inspired daily by subcultures and personal interests from art and nature to religion, fashion and interior design, Alden translates that inspiration into the small, signature details found on every handmade, locally designed piece. Incorporating gold and silver metals, colourful geodes, delicate charms and bold stones, Lisbeth collections are deeply personal and seek to communicate emotion through aesthetics from season to season.
